My 21st Birthday Party~!~!

Heyhey~!

Juz wanna say a huge huge thanks to all who had wished me happie bday on my blog and tagboard.. it was really sweet for all of u who had remembered.. :) Sorry for late post as i am still pretty busy with school work and all.. Actually in the midst of compiling a report but felt the need to hurry blog! Haha..

Wanna share with everyone a very very Birthday event that i had on 22nd Sept.. yea.. celebrated one day late for a reason.. 22nd was a sat so most pple coud make it and that was vital! haha..

Hmm.. i had a really smashing party.. one which made me so so happy, brought tears of joy and also many many good friends in my arms.. My dad used to tell me everyday is birthday as long as u are happy.. I did not wanted a party actually because thinking of the money that was to be spent, the amt of hassle and energy to plan the party was actually not worth it.. But boy was i so wrong.. a 21st bday muz definitely be celebrated and it is surely worth every bit of effort put in..

My relatives of both sides were invited.. along with my very very close friends who all played very significant parts of my life and many for whom, without them, i might not have made it this far...

I started e day pretty excited abt the whole thing.. my whole family was busy setting up the house, rearranging the furniture, blowing balloons and all and soon it was 7pm! haha.. my Grandma and my uncle were the first to reach..

Dunno how to rotate this picture.. But this was a super sumptuous dinner! My mum ordered a 10 course buffet dinner for 80 pax and there were like 20 rows of food.. WOW! i was equally shocked when i saw the amt of food.. haha!
My relatives all relaxing after their dinner.. Watching... hmm.. was it a taiwan variety show or smth.. haha.. My parents actually also put up a tent/shelter/canopy or wateva u call it, extending from my house's porch to way outside.. juz n case it rained.. and it looked pretty good.. haha.. The early birds from my singing school.. All those who came earlier were so sweet... of course those who made it no matter how late it was were also very sweet!.. haha..


Arh.. my JC councillors! LOVE THEM TO BITS.. They were my pillar of strength when i was down during JC.. we fought, we went thru thick and thin with one another.. and i'm vv proud to say we made it, and thru it all, still love one another so much.. haha.. they were the early birds as well..

Midway thru the party.. my sister and parents began doing something which caught my attention.. They began setting up our home's projector.. gathered everyone to the front door area and told everyone that hey had a special surprise for me! AWW.. Turned out to be an extremely touching video made by my lovely sis.. Who actually took the ffort to scan in all my baby, childhood photos, secondary school, JC and army pics and finally superstar competition pics as well.. Then combined with a very funny video of me dancing and Lin Zhi Ying.. haha.. sent the crowd into raptures of laughter.. But it melted my heart seeing my parents beam with joy.. i guess seeing their son becoming of age, they muz be very very happy.. and i can only become better and stronger from now on.. to make them proud and happy! :)

Buddy.. the bestest friend one could have... thanks for ur bday message.. touching and very true.. tho we are always so far apart, u and i will always be there for one another..Alvin and Half-bro Jonathan.. alvin the cute hunk ... haha.. i dunno how we became so close but he's very spontaneous and an extremely dependable and fun-loving friend.. Jonathan.. half-bro.. all i can say is that he's played a huge part of my life.. as my friend, mentor, brother, someone that i will alwys have in my heart..

Ian.. who always had shared tons of private talks with me and vice-versa.. haha..u are a bro.. always will be one..My army dudes... including dudley.. everyone of them were the bestest to me.. during the lowest points of our life... NS tat is.. haha.. and during my singing competition.. every one of them gave their all to support me.. physical, mental, emotional, monetary.. Everything.. covered my duties.. my ass.. supported my every round.. omg.. i dunno where to find such friends anymore.. i love all of u so much.. Derek.. Nigel.. Andre.. Joshua.. Sin Tiong and Dudley..
The garden boyz... who helped me thru my lowest point of my life.. or second lowest i think if the heart op is the lowest.. haha.. Joseph and Richard.. my JC buddies and also garden boyz... all the weekly therapy helped me thru.. owe u guys my all..


Jeremy and Jeff.. my two closest buddies in my singing environment.. hmm.. without them, i think i would have long been crushed and flat out of everything.. if not for their support and constant encouragement, i would have given up everything already.. Thanks so much guys.. We'll go Japan together soon.. haha.. i never forget our pact ya?

Of course who can forget my Laoshi... who is my mentor, good friend and huge supporter too.. Thanks for coming to my party Laoshi.. made a huge difference.. We will work out and do u proud too..

I AM MISSING PICTURES OF LEON - My best friend since pri 3 till now.. he's my NTU roommate! GRR.. and Ken.. good friends as well since pri 3 to now.. who had always been there to help me whenever i needed help and one of the close friends of mine as well..

Then it was the time for the singing of the bday song and cutting of cake.. after all the formalities had been done.. it was my turn to give an impromptu speech on my feelings and my life and who i wanted to thank...

Of course it was first and foremost my DAD and my MUM.. Stupid me do not have their photos in my laptop but, they are the two most most most important pple in my life.. and i love them so so so so much.. Then i began rambling abt all my friends and pple who were there for me and OMG!!!!! Emotions as usual overcame me and i CRIED!!! okay.. Teared to be exact.. haha.. It was tears of joy.. Almost close to 90 people turned up for my small party.. the most important pple of my life and they really made me feel a part of their lives as well and being here to celebrate with me one of the most impt event of my life.. it was heaven..

My sis shouted "HUMBAO" - crybaby.. but aiya.. who can blame my tears of happiness.. haha.. sadly i do not have any photos of my standing with my bday cake.. as my cam was in my pocket during that time.. hmm.. maybe i shall try to gather them from my friends.. haaha!

Then it was time to say goodbye!







No photos with me and my prezzies too.. i anxiously ripped al of them up b4 remembering that i had to take a photo! argh.. nvm.. such moments like these.. are surely etched in my mind forever.. hehe..

Thanks to all who made this party a dream come true for me.. i love u all and for the next part of my life journey.. i hope to hold all dearest to me close and achieve our dreams and goals together.. :) I love u all!

After the party, i opened up all my prezzies, and mmlbdg... and of course was a vv happy boy!
